STORServer Backup Appliance Training Classes

The current outline for both STORServers Level 1 and 2 training classes is the architecture and function of the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) software. Backup Appliance customers learn what functions and operations that the Backup Appliance automates in the STORServer implementations. Also included are client installs and the basic overview for storage management with your Backup Appliance.

Tivoli Storage Manager Training Classes

TSM is the focus of STORServer’s Level 1 and 2 training classes. Our university-style courses are designed and taught exclusively by Tivoli Certified Consultants. Our consultants have implemented hundreds of TSM configurations on Microsoft Windows 2000, AIX, Sun, MVS and HP systems.

Learn how to implement and manage a customized Tivoli Storage Manager solution for your own Tivoli Storage Manager Client environments.

Our STORServer and Tivoli Storage Manager Level 2 Advanced Topics," 4-day, lecture/lab course is designed for administrators and consultants who need to learn about the advanced features of TSM and to prepare for the TSM certification exam.

Each student works independently and in teams to accomplish the course objectives. Extensive lab work is used to provide the student with ample hands-on experience necessary to thoroughly understand the product.
